This is a pilot study of the drug Velcade, given alone and with a combination of chemotherapy drugs to treat your cancer. Velcade has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to treat other types of cancers and relapsed non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. This study is being done to find out if Velcade given alone and in combination with chemotherapy is an effective treatment for AIDS-associated lymphomas. The safety of the drug both alone and as part of a drug combination will be evaluated. There will be 18 participants in this study nationwide and about 2 participants at UCLA.
Inclusion Criteria:
- HIV positive men and women 18 years of age or older
- Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that has not gone away despite treatment or has come back after treatment
- Ability to understand informed consent
Exclusion criteria:
- Current active uncontrolled infection
- Heart failure
- Pregnancy or breast feeding
- Active hepatitis B infection
